Paul Wilson' summary of ElixirConf EU 2023 talks
This blog post by Paul Wilson is a summary of some ElixirConf EU 2023 talks. The conference was the first in-person event Paul has attended since 2019.
The keynote by José Valim covered Elixir 1.15, which is expected to have improvements in developer experience, including faster compilations for large codebases and better development experience on Windows. Valim also demonstrated some Livebook features, including Smart Cells for machine learning and the advantages of Livebook over Jupyter notebooks. Other talks covered topics such as a Domain Specific Language for impact, remote debugging with LiveBook, and optimizing LiveView for real-time applications.
